Ca-ca-ca-cancun, Mexico

Hello girls and boys!

We arrived in Mexico! After a ridiculously hungover flight and an awful lot of yanks at the airport we managed to make our way to our first hostel. It was an amazing little place in downtown cancun with a huge rooms and karaoke… Needless to say neither me or joe braved singing.

After crashing out and sleeping the first night we decided to getup as early as possible and catch an organised trip to Chechen itza which is in the centre of the Yutícan province (If you have seen idiot abroad you will recognise it).

We travelled 2 hours on a coach to see a Cenoté which is a naturally formed cave with a lagoon underground.

After we visited the Mayan ruins, our tour guide Manuel just DID NOT STOP TALKING!!! But we had a very detailed tour of the ruins which was interesting.

Also saw the original meteor hole which caused all the underwater Cenotés thousands and thousands of years ago.

After all that information and walking of course we needed a tequila…

For the evening our hostel tour guide took us out to a club called “daddios” and you can kind of guess what happened there… This may give you an idea.
